About Us

Breeding 270+ females annually allows us to select only the best for sale and replacements, all the while keeping our feeder calf market strong and in demand.
We have a good cross selection of red and black and mostly polled functional, ranch raised cattle. The calves are from a strong selection of proven walking sires and AI sires.
Sale
Our next sale will be on March 28, 2012 at the Dryland Cattle Trading Corp in Veteran, Alberta. Online bidding will be available via TEAM.
Please visit our Sale page for a listing of the bulls we are offering at our 2012 Sale. The yearling bulls profiled have been selected from our 200+ head herd of purebred cows. The bulls go through a stringent selection process, first in the spring at branding time, and then again late August. Only the top performers are retained. They stay on their mothers until early October with no creep, so the weaning weights are actual from the day they are weaned, proving the productivity of their mothers. Genetics, grass, and milking ability are the foundation of our program.
Once weaned the calves are wintered on a ration of hay and screening pellet, with the poundage per day increased according to their rate of gain.
Whether you are looking for a high performance bull or that heifer bull or somewhere in between, we will try to fit that need. We offer a good selection of bloodlines through AI plus our walking bulls. All our bulls must pass their semen test before being offered for sale. They are tested approximately 7-10 days prior to sale date, giving them as much time to mature as possible. If the vet's opinion is that he will not be a satisfactory breeder, he will not be in the sale.
The 2 year olds offered are either ones that did not pass their semen test prior to sale date, or were retained only for the purpose of being sold as a 2 year old. They come with the same semen test guarantee.
If you are a first-time prospective buyer or a repeat customer, please contact us with any questions you may have, or stop by for a visit. You won't be disappointed.
Sincerely,
Eugene and Sylvia
